What is the MISOORA NAD+ Firming Serum?
A morning firming serum for mature skin with 2,500 ppm (0.25%) NAD+, NMN and ATP in a barrier base of ceramide NP, cholesterol and linoleic acid. It is made for women 50+ whose skin looks thinner, less firm and tired, including during and after menopause. Size: 30 ml / 1.01 fl oz; regular price $45.
What does NAD+ do for mature skin?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme every cell uses to make energy for repair and renewal, and its levels in skin decline with age. The serum supports the look of firmer, smoother and more radiant skin on the face, neck and jawline.
What are the key ingredients and their concentrations?
NAD+ 2,500 ppm; NMN (an NAD+ precursor); ATP; a barrier lipid trio of ceramide NP, cholesterol and linoleic acid; ergothioneine and resveratrol (antioxidants); peptides; centella asiatica, allantoin, bisabolol and panthenol (calming); squalane, beta-glucan and niacinamide (hydration and tone). Why does the formula pair NAD+ with NMN and ATP?
NAD+ is a large molecule (about 663 daltons) that does not pass the skin barrier easily on its own. NMN is a smaller precursor that skin cells use to make their own NAD+, and ATP is the energy molecule cells run on, so the serum supports the same energy pathway from three sides.
How do I use the NAD+ Firming Serum?
Every morning after cleansing, on slightly damp skin: press 1–2 pumps (3–4 drops) into the face, neck and jawline without rubbing. Wait 30 seconds, then apply a moisturizer such as the Ceramide+ Barrier Repair Moisturizer and finish with SPF 30 or higher.
Can I use it with retinol, retinal, vitamin C or acids?
Yes. The formula has a pH of 5.7–6.6 and layers with most actives. Use it in the morning and keep retinal or retinol for the evening. If you also use exfoliating acids, alternate days at first while your skin adjusts.
Is the NAD+ Firming Serum good for sensitive skin?
Yes. It is fragrance-free, ethanol-free and non-comedogenic, with centella asiatica, allantoin and bisabolol to keep skin calm. If you are being treated for a skin condition, check with your dermatologist before adding a new active.
How long does it take to see results?
Most people notice calmer, better-hydrated skin in the first 1–2 weeks, a smoother and more radiant look around week 4, and firmer-looking skin after 8–12 weeks of daily use. Individual results vary.
Does it replace my moisturizer?
No. It is a treatment serum. Apply it before moisturizer, which seals it in and keeps the barrier comfortable.
Can I use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
This formula contains no retinoids. As with any new skincare, check with your doctor before using it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Is it tested, and why is it in an airless pump?
The serum is MoCRA registered and FDA listed, cruelty-free, and third-party tested for microbiology, heavy metals and 1,4-dioxane. Certificates of analysis are available on request. NAD+ breaks down with air and light, so it comes in an airless pump that keeps it fresh to the last dose.
