What is the Ceramide+ Barrier Repair Moisturizer?
A barrier repair moisturizer for dry, mature skin and the final step of every MISOORA routine, morning and night. It relieves tightness, seals in serums and helps skin hold on to moisture. Size: 50 ml; regular price $30.
What are the key ingredients?
Ceramide NP 0.9% with cholesterol and linoleic acid (the lipids a healthy skin barrier is built from), two collagen peptides, and low- and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. The full ingredient list is on this page.
Why do ceramides matter for skin after 50?
With age, and especially after menopause, skin makes fewer of its own barrier lipids. That shows up as tightness after cleansing, flaky patches and new sensitivity. Replacing ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids helps the barrier hold moisture again.
How do I use it?
As the last step: warm a small amount between your fingertips and press it into the face and neck. In the morning apply it before SPF; in the evening apply it after your serums.
Can I use it as a night cream?
Yes. The same moisturizer is used morning and night.
Does it help with dryness from retinal or retinol?
Yes. It helps keep skin comfortable during retinoid use and is part of the Evening Routine PM Set together with the Retinal 0.2% Barrier Serum.
Does it work under makeup and sunscreen?
Yes. It is light enough to wear under SPF and makeup in the morning.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. It is fragrance-free and ethanol-free.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Tightness and dryness ease from the first use; flaky patches usually look better within 1–2 weeks of twice-daily use. Individual results vary.
Can I use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
This formula contains no retinoids. As with any new skincare, check with your doctor before using it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Is it tested and cruelty-free?
Yes. The moisturizer is MoCRA registered and FDA listed, cruelty-free, and third-party tested for microbiology, heavy metals and 1,4-dioxane. Certificates of analysis are available on request.
