Cocamidopropyl Betaine + Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate

A betaine-amino acid surfactant system — two of the mildest, most skin-compatible cleansing agents in cosmetic chemistry.

What it does for your skin

Removes sebum, makeup, SPF, and environmental debris effectively while maintaining the skin's natural moisture content. Low lather — high effectiveness. The cleansing without the burn.

Why it matters

Sulfate surfactants clean by disrupting the skin barrier. Amino acid + betaine surfactants clean without it. The distinction determines whether your cleanser undoes your moisturizer every time you use it.

Ceramide NP 0.3% + Cholesterol 0.1%

The two primary structural lipids of the skin's lamellar barrier — present in every MISOORA formula.

What it does for your skin

Deposits barrier lipids on skin during rinsing, compensating for any lipid loss from cleansing. Skin barrier is in better condition after washing than before.

Why it matters

No other step in skincare is guaranteed to reduce barrier lipids — cleansing is. A cleanser that actively replenishes ceramides turns the most stripping step into a net-positive one.

Panthenol 0.3%

Pro-vitamin B5 — a healing, barrier-strengthening active that works even through a rinse-off formula.

What it does for your skin

Softens, conditions, and strengthens the skin surface during cleansing contact time. Reduces the inflammatory micro-response that even gentle cleansing can trigger.

Why it matters

Most cleansers treat panthenol as a trace marketing ingredient. At 0.3% in a rinse-off formula, there's meaningful conditioning contact. Your skin is softer after the cleanse, not in spite of it.

Glycerin 10%

A humectant — one of the most effective moisture-binding actives in cosmetic chemistry.

What it does for your skin

Draws moisture from the air and binds it to the skin surface during and after cleansing. Prevents the drying effect of surfactants on the skin surface.

Why it matters

At 10%, glycerin is a primary functional ingredient, not a filler. It's the humectant backbone that keeps skin hydrated throughout the cleansing step.

Centella Asiatica 0.1% + Propolis Extract 0.1%

Two of the most studied botanical anti-inflammatory and skin-healing actives in cosmetic dermatology.

What it does for your skin

Calms inflammatory response in skin during cleansing. Centella reduces redness and speeds barrier recovery; Propolis provides antimicrobial and soothing support. Together they ensure the botanical layer is actually functional.

Why it matters

The anti-inflammatory effect matters most for skin using retinoids or post-procedure skin — where even gentle cleansing can temporarily increase reactivity. This cleanser actively counters that

Honeysuckle 0.1% + Forsythia Extract 0.1%

Two traditional botanical actives with documented antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity — from the same Korean botanical medicine lineage as the broader MISOORA Skin Recharge Skincare system.

What it does for your skin

Provides antioxidant protection during cleansing contact time. Reduces environmental oxidative stress on the skin surface. Supports the anti-inflammatory action of the Centella-Propolis complex.

Why it matters

Most cleansers rinse away any benefit before it has time to act. These botanical extracts work at low concentrations during the 30–60 seconds of cleansing contact — and leave an antioxidant residue on skin even after rinsing.

1 OF 7

MISOORA morning routine.

Step 1 — MISOORA Cleanser

Start with a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser. Pat skin until damp — not dripping. Damp skin absorbs actives faster and deeper.

Step 2 — NAD+ Firming Serum

Dispense 3–4 drops into clean palms. Press gently into face, neck, and jawline. Do not rub. Wait 30 seconds before your next step. Apply on slightly damp skin for maximum absorption.

Step 3 — MISOORA Moisturizer

Seal the serum in with your moisturizer. Follow immediately with SPF 30 or higher. The moisturizer locks the NAD+ actives in place and extends their working time through the day.

Step 4 — SPF

MISOORA evening routine. Built to work together

Step 1 — MISOORA Cleanser

Start with a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser. Pat skin until damp — not dripping. Damp skin absorbs actives faster and deeper.

Step 2 — MISOORA Retinal Serum

Evening is when retinal works best — skin repair cycles peak overnight. Apply before PDRN on dry skin.

Step 3 — MISOORA PDRN+EXOSOME+EGF Serum

PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a cellular repair signal that works synergistically with retinal. Apply immediately after retinal, press gently in.

Step 3 — MISOORA Moisturizer

Seal the serum in with your moisturizer. Follow immediately with SPF 30 or higher. The moisturizer locks the NAD+ actives in place and extends their working time through the day.

Our Mission

MISOORA is a K-beauty brand designed around skin longevity. We take biotech actives — NAD+, PDRN, Exosomes, EGF, and Retinaldehyde — and build them into one daily routine, at concentrations we publish openly, at a price that keeps clinic-grade science within reach.

We're not here to help you fight your age. We're here to help your skin stay resilient — on your terms, with science you can actually check.

Why Longevity, Not Anti-Aging

Anti-aging asks your skin to apologize for time. Longevity asks a better question: how do your skin cells keep doing their job as the years add up?

The honest part: no single product does this. Skin longevity is a practice, the way sleep, nutrition, and movement compound over time. That's why MISOORA is a five-piece range meant to be used as one routine — organized around three ideas: Wellness, Recharge, Longevity.

What To Expect

Real change takes consistency, not a single bottle. Here's an honest timeline for using the full routine as directed (individual results vary):

  • Days 1–7 — Comfort. Skin feels cleaner without tightness; the barrier feels calmer. The cleanser and moisturizer do the quiet work.
  • Weeks 2–4 — Glow & smoothness. Most people notice softer texture and a healthier-looking glow as renewal actives settle in.
  • Weeks 4–8 — Firmness & tone. With nightly retinaldehyde and the NAD+/PDRN serums, this is typically when the look of firmness and more even tone becomes visible.
  • Week 12+ — Compounding. Like any longevity practice, the results build the longer you stay consistent.
Compliance note: this is "appearance"/"look of" language only, MoCRA/FTC-safe. Replace with on-product clinical/consumer-study data the moment you have it — that will lift conversion more than any copy.

Where MISOORA Comes From

MISOORA is created at the intersection of Korean formulation science and American expectations. The longevity conversation has mostly lived at the luxury tier. Our wager is that it doesn't have to stay there — so we built the routine natively within the shift, not retrofitted to it.

How It's Made — Standards & Safety

We hold our manufacturing to standards we can prove, not just claim:

  • MoCRA registered under the U.S. Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act.
  • FDA product listing for our products, per U.S. cosmetic requirements.
  • Independent third-party testing (Intertek): microbiological testing, heavy-metals testing, and 1,4-dioxane analysis.
  • USP <51> challenge test — antimicrobial effectiveness validated.
  • Documentation on file: COA (Certificate of Analysis) and MSDS, available on request.
  • cruelty-free

Every batch is backed by paper, not promises.

Incredible amount of foam from this gel cleanser

This cleanser comes in a 3.38 fluid ounce mirrored plastic bottle with pump. The pump does a very good job of limiting the amount that comes out at once - because you don’t need a super lot. It’s a pearly white gel when you dispense it, with a soapy-floral scent. It immediately foams up when applied to your wet face and feels very thick and luxurious while you’re massaging it in. It rinses off with water pretty quickly and leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, but without the tightness of a lot of cleansers.

    My Holy Grail Cleanser!

It's the best formula I have ever discovered. It honestly deserves the title of the absolute best product in their entire lineup.

Most cleansers that promise a "glass skin" finish end up stripping the skin barrier, leaving it tight and squeaky clean in the worst way possible.

Here the ingredient combination is brilliant:

Amino Acids provide the gentlest lather that respects the skin's natural pH. Centella instantly calms down redness or irritation. Ceramides seal in moisture, ensuring the skin barrier stays completely intact and protected.

My skin is left feeling incredibly soft, bouncy, plump, and really deeply hydrated. I am officially obsessed !

    perfect for my eczema-prone skin

I have eczema flare ups and most cleansers make them worse. This one is so mild that my skin stays calm. No flares since I switched. It cleans well but feels like it's being kind to my face at the same time. Repurchasing for sure.

    My Forever Cleanser

This is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. It doesn’t strip my skin and it has a very pleasant scent to it. One pump is all you need to get the job done. So this is going to last me a very long time. So excited to try some of the other products from this line. I am a customer for life that is how much I love this cleanser.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cocamidopropyl Betaine (a betaine surfactant) and Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate (an amino acid surfactant). Neither is sulfate-based. Both are among the gentlest cleansing systems in cosmetic chemistry — used in dermatologically-tested sensitive skin formulas specifically because they clean without barrier disruption.

It will remove light SPF, daily makeup, and sebum effectively. For waterproof or long-wear formulas, use a dedicated oil or balm cleanser first — then follow with this as your second cleanse. Double cleansing is the standard protocol for PM heavy-makeup removal with a gentle surfactant cleanser like this one.

Yes. Foam volume is a cosmetic choice, not a cleaning signal. Sulfate-based cleansers foam heavily because they're more disruptive surfactants. Amino acid + betaine cleansers are gentler by design and produce a softer, lower lather. The cleansing efficacy is real — the absence of stripping is also real.

The skin's natural acid mantle sits between pH 4.5–6. Most traditional soaps and some cleansers are pH 8–10 — they alkalinize the surface, which disrupts the microbiome, reduces efficacy of low-pH serums, and triggers inflammation. A cleanser at pH 6.5–7.5 doesn't fight the skin's chemistry — it works within it.

For light daily makeup, light SPF, and no waterproof products — yes. For heavy SPF, foundation, or waterproof mascara — do a first cleanse with an oil/balm, then follow with this. The surfactant system is designed for efficiency, not for breaking down heavy pigment or waterproof film.

Yes — it's specifically designed for it. The ceramide and cholesterol deposition during rinsing helps maintain the barrier that retinal and retinol are working to renew. The anti-inflammatory botanical complex (Centella, Propolis, Honeysuckle) reduces the baseline inflammation that retinoid use can elevate. This is not a coincidence — the MISOORA system is formulated to work as a stack.

Ingredient overlap is common. The differences are in concentration, pH, and formulation design. Most "gentle" cleansers include ceramides at trace levels for the label — this one includes them at functional concentrations with the ceramide-cholesterol pairing required for actual lamellar deposition. pH is published. INCI is full and in order.

Yes — it's designed for both. In the morning, 30 seconds is sufficient. In the evening, 60 seconds minimum to properly clear the day's product and environmental load. The same cleanser, both windows — designed to prime the barrier before actives at every use.
