Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Misoora ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit misoora.online (the "Site") and join our waitlist. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate our waitlist service:

  • Email address — submitted voluntarily when you join the waitlist

  • Confirmation status — whether you completed the double opt-in verification

  • Sign-up timestamp — date and time of registration

  • Referral data — if you arrived via a referral link

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any sensitive personal data at this stage.

We may also automatically collect limited technical data when you visit the Site, including:

  • IP address (anonymized)

  • Browser type and version

  • Device type (desktop or mobile)

  • Pages visited and time spent on the Site

  • Referring URL

This technical data is collected through standard analytics tools and is used solely to understand how our Site is used and to improve the user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To add you to the Misoora waitlist and manage your registration

  • To send you a confirmation email to verify your email address (double opt-in)

  • To notify you of the Misoora product launch, founding member access, and early pricing

  • To send marketing communications related to Misoora products and updates

  • To analyze and improve the performance of our Site and waitlist

  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We will not use your information for any purpose not described in this policy without your explicit consent.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information based on the following legal grounds:

  • Consent — you voluntarily submitted your email address and confirmed it via double opt-in

  • Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our waitlist service and communicate with prospective customers

  • Legal compliance — to meet applicable US federal and state legal requirements

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our waitlist. These providers may process your personal data on our behalf:

  • Klaviyo — email marketing and subscriber management platform. Klaviyo stores and processes your email address on servers located in the United States. Privacy policy: klaviyo.com/legal/privacy

  • Framer — website hosting platform. Privacy policy: framer.com/privacy

  • Analytics providers — for Site traffic analysis (e.g., Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled)

All third-party providers are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may disclose your information only in the following circumstances:

  • To our service providers as described in Section 4

  • If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process (e.g., court order or subpoena)

  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Misoora, our users, or the public

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information is transferred

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address and associated waitlist data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or until you unsubscribe and request deletion.

Specifically:

  • Active waitlist subscribers — retained until launch and ongoing communications, or until unsubscribe

  • Unverified emails (double opt-in not completed) — deleted within 30 days

  • Unsubscribed contacts — email address retained on suppression list to prevent future re-subscription without consent

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

  • Access controls limiting who can view subscriber data

  • Use of reputable, security-certified third-party platforms

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to Know — you may request details about the personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell

  • Right to Delete — you may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions

  • Right to Correct — you may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you

  • Right to Opt Out of Sale — we do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism

  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@misoora.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site and waitlist are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us at info@misoora.com.
